Traces / Evidence / Remains is a quietly cinematic collection of black-and-white images exploring memory, solitude, human connection and the marks left behind by ordinary lives.

 

The collection brings together children, adults and older figures photographed within worn interiors, empty streets, railway platforms, riverside paths and weathered architectural spaces. Some appear lost in thought, while others wait, wander, observe or simply share a quiet moment together.

 

There is a strong sense of narrative within every image. A figure standing in a doorway, a child looking towards the sky, an elderly couple sitting closely together or a solitary person walking through the rain can each become the beginning of a much larger story.

 

The restrained monochrome palette, soft atmospheric light and distressed surroundings give the images a timeless quality. They feel like fragments from an unfinished film, memories recovered from an old archive or evidence of lives that have passed through a place.
