The Mockup Collection
Interior Mockup Collection – For Wall Art Presentation
This collection of interior mockups has been curated to help you present your artwork in a professional way. Each scene features a styled interior with a set frame or canvas, allowing you to showcase your work within a realistic environment while keeping the process simple and intuitive. I will be adding mockups to this collection.
All files are provided as layered PSD documents.
What’s Inside Each PSD File
-
A styled interior background
-
A set frame or canvas with realistic shadows integrated as part of the background layer (these are not on a separate layer and cannot be changed in shape or format)
-
A dedicated blank layer inside the frame or canvas for placing your artwork
-
Optional passepartout layer (available in framed versions only)
How to Insert Your Artwork (Framed Mockups)
-
Open the PSD file in Photoshop.
-
Locate the clearly labelled blank layer inside the frame.
-
Place your artwork directly above this layer.
-
Right-click your artwork layer and choose Create Clipping Mask (or press Alt + Click between the two layers).
-
Your artwork will now sit perfectly inside the frame.
Optional Adjustments
-
For a softer, more integrated interior feel, you may experiment with setting your artwork layer to Multiply blending mode. (You might also like to experiment with the Harmonize tool in the layers menu).
-
If your artwork appears slightly too dark within the scene:
-
Add a Levels Adjustment Layer above your artwork.
-
Clip it to your artwork layer.
-
Gently lift the midtones to brighten the overall appearance while maintaining realism.
-
You might also like to experiment with the Harmonize tool in the layers menu.
-
Activate the passepartout layer if you would like a bordered presentation (available in framed versions only).
-
Canvas Mockups
The canvas mockups follow the same simple process:
-
Place your artwork above the designated blank canvas layer.
-
Create a Clipping Mask.
-
Adjust blending mode or Levels if needed.
Canvas versions do not include a passepartout layer, keeping the presentation true to a stretched canvas finish.
-
