First Morning is about the gentle presence of a young deer. I wanted the image to feel fresh and hopeful, as if capturing one of those early moments of discovery. Warm light, layered textures and subtle geometric lines help shape the portrait, while forest elements, faint script and weathered details bring a sense of place. Bringing these elements together allowed me to highlight the natural grace of the animal within a textured contemporary setting. The result is a bright and tender glimpse of wildlife at the beginning of its journey.
