A collection of 75 soft, atmospheric JPG overlays and natural backgrounds, created to bring a quiet sense of depth and light into your work.

 

These airy, light-toned images — often fading into whites and gentle neutrals — are perfect for building from a place of subtlety. Use them as a foundation for your compositions, or layer them over textures to introduce a soft, mist-like presence that feels both distant and immersive.

 

They work beautifully when you want to create space, mood, and a sense of atmosphere before introducing your main elements — like stepping into a scene that is just beginning to form.

 

Photoshop Guide — Building Your Scene

• Place your chosen overlay over your texture or background
• Set the blend mode to Soft Light (or experiment with Screen for a brighter effect)
• Gently adjust the opacity to control the intensity of the atmosphere
• Add a Layer Mask and softly brush away any hard edges to blend the overlay seamlessly into your canvas
• Use the mask to remove or fade any visible edges of the file so it feels naturally integrated
• Apply a subtle Gaussian Blur if you want to push the depth even further
• Once your atmosphere is set, begin layering your main elements in front
• Finish with light colour grading or texture overlays to unify the scene

You are permitted to create personal projects as well as items for sale. This licence allows you to sell the items as part of an art project or image. For instance, designers can incorporate these items as they are or modfied (edited/manipulated) into collage/montage art, digital or analogue. The only restriction is that you are not authorised to resell the entire kit or individual elements in its original form, either for CU (Commercial Use) or PU (Personal Use).
