This piece centres on the watchful presence of an owl — a bird that has always felt wise and self-contained to me. I built the composition through layers of photographic detail, abstract textures, weathered parchment elements, and fine geometric lines to create depth and atmosphere. Warm autumnal tones and soft, diffused light sit alongside darker, more expressive marks, allowing the owl to emerge with strength and clarity.
